All passengers must check-in before boarding. You can check-in online or in person at the airport. Please note the opening times of the check-in counters, as they differ between carriers. We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before departure so that you can complete all the formalities in a timely manner. If you are flying Turkish Airlines or Fly Dubai we suggest you arrive to the airport at least 3 hours before scheduled time of departure.

Online check-in

Online check-in is available on the website of the carrier you are traveling with. The list of carriers can be found here.

Check-in at the airport

Check-in counters in the check-in area are marked with carrier name and flight class.

Passengers who will not join the check-in line by a certain time, will not be allowed to board. Passengers must be at the gate 20 minutes before the flight’s departure, otherwise they will not be able to board the plane. Due to these restrictions, we advise passengers to arrive at the airport about 2 to 2.5 hours before departure.

Check-in counters usually open 120 minutes before departure and close 30 minutes before departure or earlier, depending on the carrier. The same applies to charter flights. Check the list below for the exact opening/closing times of the check-in counters depending on your carrier.

The column "check-in counters open" means how long before the scheduled departure of the aircraft the check-in counters are opened and the column "check-in counters close" means how long before departure the check-in counters are closed. All times are expressed in relation to the scheduled departure time of the aircraft and are not adjusted to the new departure time in case of delays. This means that passengers must check in on time, despite any delays.

Before check-in, prepare your ticket or a receipt showing you purchased a ticket alongside travel documents as well as place your checked luggage on the belt. After successfully completing the check-in, you will be issued with a boarding pass and checked luggage receipt.

If your luggage needs to be checked, you must do so at your carrier’s check-in counter by presenting your boarding pass and travel documents. If you do not have a boarding pass, inform the airport staff that you have completed the check-in online whereupon the staff will issue you with a new boarding pass.

Boarding

Passenger boarding will be completed 20 minutes before the flight departs. Passengers who are not at the gate at that time will not be accepted on board.
