The airline Norwegian today established new flights from Ljubljana Airport. Slovenia will be connected twice a week to Copenhagen, and through the hub Norwegian will offer convenient onward flights to other Nordic countries.
New flights of airBaltic from Ljubljana Airport to Riga
The Latvian airline airBaltic launched flights from Ljubljana Airport to its home base in Riga, Latvia. The airline will connect Slovenia and Latvia twice weekly, and through its hub at Riga Airport offer a number of onward flights throughout Europe, to the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
Celebration event marking the 60th anniversary of Ljubljana Airport
It has been 60 years since passenger traffic began at Ljubljana Airport. At a celebratory event marking the airport's venerable jubilee, the airport operator provided insights into its rich history, successful traffic recovery, and outlined future projects for the development of airport infrastructure and services. The honorary speaker at the event was the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, and the managing director of Fraport Slovenija, Dr. Babett Stapel, also addressed the guests.
