25. 3. 2021

Next weekend sees the summer timetable enter into force. Owing to the epidemic, the onset of the summer season will still feature much-reduced services. Currently there are five scheduled airlines operating from Ljubljana Airport: Lufthansa serving Frankfurt, Air France serving Paris, Turkish Airlines serving Istanbul, Aeroflot serving Moscow and Air Serbia serving Belgrade.

According to the latest information, the peak of the summer season will see a total of 15 airlines operating scheduled services to 16 different destinations: Transavia to Amsterdam, SunExpress to Antalya, Air Serbia to Belgrade, Brussels Airlines to Brussels, Wizz Air to Brussels Charleroi, Lufthansa to Frankfurt, easyJet to London Gatwick and London Luton, British Airways to London Heathrow, Turkish Airlines to Istanbul, Aeroflot to Moscow, Air France to Paris, El AL to Tel Aviv, LOT Polish Airlines to Warsaw, Finnair to Helsinki and Swiss International Air Lines to Zurich. The current forecast is that air traffic will begin to rise in earnest from early May. Ljubljana Airport’s provisional summer timetable, which reflects the current state of official announcements by airlines, can be found here.

This summer’s charter traffic is currently forecast to be higher than last year’s. Tour operators will operate flights to the Greek islands, to Antalya in Turkey, to Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada in Egypt, and to Barcelona

Due to circumstances changes in announcements and flights operations are happening daily, therefore we advise passengers to seek most accurate information about possibilities of flights on airlines' websites or at point of sales where they bought their tickets.

The airport is ready to welcome passengers safely. At Ljubljana Airport Covid-19 swabs are available to all passengers and all other members of the general public who require a test certificate. Testing is voluntary and self-paid. Several preventive safety measures have been introduced for the safe reception of passengers and the safe work of employees. Passengers are advised to inform about these before arriving at the airport.
