Today Eurowings has launched direct flights from Ljubljana Airport to Düsseldorf. Flights between Slovenian and German city are scheduled three times a week, and in addition to direct flights, the route will enable passengers to catch connecting flights through the airline’s extensive network of 110 direct routes from Düsseldorf, especially to popular European holiday destinations and capitals.
KLM flight from Amsterdam welcomed at Ljubljana Airport
A flight from Amsterdam arrived at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport today, 31st March at 12:05, operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines—a new airline provider in Slovenia offering a direct connection between Ljubljana and Amsterdam. Representatives from Ljubljana Airport and KLM, along with the Dutch Ambassador to Slovenia, welcomed the inaugural passengers on this new route on arrival at Ljubljana Airport.
Two new airlines coming to Ljubljana Airport with the summer season
The summer season of 2025 will set a record at Ljubljana Airport in terms of the number of scheduled airlines. A total of 24 airlines will offer flights to 26 destinations, including two new carriers – KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and German low-cost carrier Eurowings. In total, more than 170 scheduled flights per week will be available. A rich charter flight offering is also expected, with flights to 52 holiday destinations.
