Peter Voets, easyJets Marketing
Manager for Switzerland, Austria & Eastern Europe, said:
"easyJets passengers numbers will be shooting up from 95,000 this
year to 160,000 next year so we are delighted to be offering even
more routes from Slovenia. easyJet will grow in Slovenia in the
next twelve months by 68%, offering its familiar combination of
low-fares with care and convenience."
Janez Krasnja, Sales Director in
Aerodrom Ljubljana said: "easyJet has started flying to Slovenia
immediately after the countrys integration into the EU, and has
proven as an outstanding and reliable partner of Aerodrom Ljubljana
ever since. Since the beginning of flying till today we have cared
for around 600,000 easyJet passengers. Launching two new routes is
on the one hand a sign of good partnership integration, and more
importantly, a prospect that passenger numbers at our airport as
well as air guest numbers in Slovenia will start to rise
again."
