At Aerodrom Ljubljana we are striving to continuously reduce the harmful impacts of our core activities on the environment. The new Environmental Manual defines our environmental policy and the environmental management system, and enables us to implement and maintain that system, which covers essential environmental issues and their impact. It also allows us to set appropriate environmental objectives, targets and programmes.

The environmental policy follows the principles of sustainable development and sets out the basic commitments, key principles and strategic objectives. It also covers the requirements of ISO 14001, which seeks to protect and preserve the environment for present and future generations. Moreover the manual contains an Environmental Policy Statement, representing the formal commitment of the Aerodrom Ljubljana management board to the continuous improvement of the environment. By signing this policy statement the board has demonstrated to our business partners and owners our active approach to the implementation of environmental policy.
